Sounds very nice, and you've obviously edited even the normal part because it sounds LOADS smoother and sharper now.
As for the guitar, it is very catchy and has nice editing that makes it sounds muffled in the atmospheric way, not the weak way.
The drums are nice as well. I'm pretty sure they have the same beat as the original, but I think the percussion just sounds better in this version.
I like this one a lot, among your best at least with the new changes.

Cheers mr, it was one of those songs where you listen to it and you know something was wrong but it took ages to figure out what.

Your reviews are always helpful, thank you

Instruments you don't use often, nice melodies and all the tunes work together well.
As for improvement, the lower guitar riff at 01:50 would be better just a TAD more refined, and maybe the drums (more so the snares) could be more powerful.
I'm not picking at weaknesses, it's just in case you need to know how to improve.
By the way I love ~2:40

rainheart666787 responds:

cheers for the support! all good points and i will take them into account. any feedback is welcomed, its how we improve :-)

Just yes.
What, people are too used to me giving long explanations?

Well OK! The beat is solid and very nice, providing a typical Alloud beat with a nice punch to it. Maybe could change a little bit more throughout, even though I appreciate flourishes and cymbal breakdowns.

The leads (both pure electronic and synthesised instruments) are nice, providing a moody, positive melody that perfects the atmospheric spin on DnB.
This song may even be my new Study Anthem, formerly Pendulum's The Island (mainly part 1).

And yes, this review is long, but I'm in a better mood than usual, so I type fast and without realising where I'm going.
Anyway, nice track, and keep it up!

Alloud responds:

I hear you on the beat. I usually mix things up, but that wasn't what I wanted on this one. d: My next track has more variance in the patterns.

Cheers for the review, and I'm glad you enjoyed!

Good, even for a first try! I only gave it -1 star because of the repetiveness of the length, and that perhaps the sounds could have more... oomph (bass and overall noise I guess).

Nice beat though, and the lead slots in well. I hope you make more DnB!

TheGreatKhalem responds:

Thanks dude! I had heard the beat with the melody in my head so I had to make, only thing is I'm stumped what else to do to the beat D:

The mastering is off like you said, and the ending is sudden, but I gave it a 5 on the side so it gets 4.75 total.
The bass and atmospherics... Mmm!
Really nice and pumping. I'd really like to hear more like this, and I figured your style was going this way.

Octrox responds:

Thanks a lot! :)

I agree with you about the ending, it is a bit stiff, but I'd rather end it instead of making it too repetitive.
Glad you liked it

Love this. The guitar takes me back to my days on only rock music, and the drums and melody changes throughout, starting with breakbeat style then classic DnB near the end.
I was going to say it's repetitive, then the whole thing suddenly changed.

When I recommended DnB structure with electric guitar this is pretty much what I had in mind. The fact it's sort-of-about me makes it even better (glorious ego.) Good job!

I'm glad you like! It took me a while to get a decent hook and rythm with the dnb drums but im highly over the moon with the outcome.

And yes dear sir it was your kind words that pushed me further and that's what I see this community as. Thank you for inspiring me :D

I'm sure I've heard an arp like that somewhere before. : /

I love the ambiance and feel of the track, and the mix of sounds at 1:20 onwards is just brilliant.
If I know I'll have enough files for a new folder, I am so downloading this.

No clue where :V A good deal of idm is arp based though so who knows.

Thanks for the review and follow, bro! I really appreciate it.

The fastest way to describe it is Minecraft/Mario/Sonic/New Age.
Nice, effective atmosphere, good melodies and sounds. Also nice themed drums. Maybe the ending is too sudden, but I think that's pretty much all my negatives.
And yes, it's tasty. Dang.

johnfn responds:

Thanks! Yeah I need to learn to let my endings trail off. I'm such a slacker with endings. :X

Gets a bit repetitive in places, and maybe the audio quality sounds off in places, but the instruments are good and really work together. The drums fit nicely and provide a solid beat without changing pace. Wasn't sure about rating so I gave 4.5 here and 4 on the side rating.

rainheart666787 responds:

thank you :-)

This song was all about experimenting with the different sounds and im glad you like them. i agree with the audio and repetitive structure, gonna take those on board on future projects.

thank you for your review and your time :-)

I don't use Newgrounds much and I hate everything I made before maybe 2019. Thanks for being on my profile though!
